Structural Engineer – (Entry Level to 4 yrs of Experience)

Plan B Engineering is looking for a Structural Engineer, F.E. to join our dynamic team! If

What You’ll Do:

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our project management
teams.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• • Perform structural calculations and modeling analysis for diverse projects
  • Assist with construction administration, shop drawings, and RFIs
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and prepare reports
  • Review design and field issues for code compliance
  • Work closely with contractors on equipment selection and specifications
  • Support project managers in engineering and detailing standards

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking individuals who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative, with a passion
for structural engineering and design.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• • 0 – 4 years of experience in structural engineering or a related field
  • Self-motivated team player with strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn about new structural solutions
  • Ability to multitask, pivot focus as priorities adjust, and manage multiple projects
  • Interest in learning and utilizing various engineering software applications

Qualifications:

• • Education: BS in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Structural Focus)
  • Experience: 0-4 years in Structural Engineering
  • Certifications: Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred; must be eligible for FE exam
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
