New Jersey State House, Renovations
Trenton, New Jersey
After nearly six years, the extensive renovations at the New Jersey State House are nearing completion! 🏛️ With a budget close to $300 million, this historic building, dating back to the 1700s, has undergone a remarkable transformation to a modern work space while preserving its rich heritage and architectural significance.
Our team has been involved in many aspects of this ambitious restoration and modernization project. From pre-construction planning and bid support, to development of sequences and temporary systems, to real-time problem-solving in the field, we are proud of our contributions to this project’s success. Our experienced staff is both technically savvy and firmly planted in the realities of the modern construction site. This provides us with a practical and holistic approach that bridges the gap between the design team, preservationists, the General Constructor, and various specialty subs to help ensure a successful project outcome.
While some exterior work remains ongoing, we’re immensely proud of the role Plan B Engineering played in preserving this national treasure. Read more about this historic project: https://whyy.org/articles/nj-statehouse-capitol-renovation-wraps-up/
